Why do people choose yoga therapy?
“clients are usually not coming to learn yoga, but to get help with or relief from some symptom or health condition that is troubling them. In most cases, the instruction focuses on their condition and how the yoga techniques can help them
feel better or improve their function, rather than on the techniques or methods of yoga practice."

Private Healing Therapies
The human system is a holistic entity. It is comprised of different dimensions; physical, energetic, mental/emotional, wisdom and spiritual, that are interrelated and inseparable from each other. The dis-ease or sickness of any single dimension affects the other dimensions, and vice-versa.
You are one of a kind. Your therapeutic sessions should be too. There is no "one-size-fits-all" pill in holistic therapy.
While many treatment methods only provide temporary relief without addressing the root causes of our imbalances, yoga, yoga therapy, and reiki tools and practices address the very foundations of our lives and reconnect us with our deepest selves. This is essential for lasting healing.
Yoga is self-empowering; YOU become your own healer. As a yoga therapist, I can offer direction and give a healing practice, but it is up to the YOU to do the practice. Unlike other healing modalities, such as surgery or massage, in Yoga the YOU are empowered and required to participate in his or her own healing.
As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), I facilitate healing by assessing your:
-
Your goals for optimal health and wellness
-
Current physical, energetic, and mental/emotional imbalances
-
Levels of awareness
-
Patterns, routines and habits
-
Personal connections, meaning and purpose
and offering tools and techniques that will allow your body to find freedom from suffering, leading to whole-body wellness.
Yoga therapy treatment plans are individually created to address all dimensions of the human system to optimize healing, and can include a combination of movement (yoga poses), breathing techniques (pranayama), somatic movement, visualizations, guided meditations, relaxation techniques, affirmations, chanting, routine building, lifestyle/diet changes and more.
Reiki therapy also works on the dimensions of the human body helping by balancing your 7 chakras. It opens up these blocked areas so your energy runs smoothly and goes to where it needs to in your body to heal, rejuvenate, and reenergize itself. Your body is a wonderful, powerful, miraculous thing. It's made to self heal. Reiki helps with this process.
As a Reiki practitioner, I facilitate healing by assessing your:
-
Your goals for optimal health and wellness
-
Your concerns and issues causing imbalances or suffering
-
Energy levels of each chakra
assisting with tuning into your blocked chakras and applying non-invasive series of hand placements to channel energy which will optimally assist you in your healing session.
Reiki therapy aids in unblocking negative energy patterns, helps to heal not CURE, is NOT a Religion but is Spiritual, and can cause NO harm. Your body will use that energy in the most optimal way it sees fit to best heal itself...body, mind, and spirit.
Through my own experiences of auto-immune diseases, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and burnout, using mind-body therapy tools of yoga have continuously empower me towards self-regulation and self-resilience. I have found ease in my mind, body, and spirit, while gaining insight into living a life aligned with my truth.

Testimonials
“We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and, by our serenity, make others more tranquil. Serenity is contagious. If we smile at someone, he or she will smile back. And a smile costs nothing. We should plague everyone with joy. If we are to die in a minute, why not die happily, laughing?”

Begin your healing journey with me
Healing journey is not a one-size-fits all modality. Therefore, as a therapist of holistic health I take into consideration every aspect of a person’s life, rather than only looking at one symptom or condition in isolation. I offer in person sessions in the Oahu, Hawaii area, and online work to clients living everywhere else. Here are the simple steps for working one on one with me:
One difference between a class and a private session is the amount of time spent on the Intake and Feedback process. Because each session is dedicated to one person, there is ample time for the Yoga therapist to listen carefully to what the client wants and needs and then address those wants and needs in the sessions.
Working with Me
01
Free consultation call
Schedule a free 15-minute call with me! This is a great opportunity for me to learn about you, find out how I can support your goals, for you to ask any questions you might have for me, as well as learn which kind of session I’d recommend for you.
02
Intake form
Intake forms are completed before we meet. This form allows me to get a full picture about what’s going on with you—physically, energetically, emotionally, in the wisdom body, in the bliss body—not just the pain or other issues.
The form also asks you what you would like to achieve in holistic therapy. Throughout the session, we can come back to the intake form and ask additional questions or expand on a topic, giving both of us more information and clarity.
03
Session, Assessments and Plan of Care
Assessment is a key component in the holistic therapy sessions. It’s a process of inquiry to help us both discover the underlying issues you're dealing with, and how therapy can serve you. I will take a few moments to let you know what to expect for the rest of our time together. Together we will choose the type of session that will best meet your needs, and attend as many of those sessions -- in person or virtually -- with me as you choose. Together we will create a personal health care plan that will benefit your goals.
